This comfortable restaurant is furnished with traditional tables and chairs and has an open fire to warm you on those winter evenings.

There is a varied menu with fresh fish, game and meat available throughout the year. The restaurant prides itself on freshly cooked meals using only locally produced vegetables and there is also a daily specials board. The Wheatsheaf has an excellent wine list and a range of local ales to accompany your meal.

The restaurant is open Tuesday-Saturday for lunch and evening meals.


Lunchtime - 12:00pm - 2:00pm
Evenings - 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Sunday - Lunchtime only 12:00pm-2:00pm

The bar is open from 5:30pm.
